Brajesh Narain Singh is a well-known UP cadre bureaucrat who is known for fastest land acquisition in the country (First Phase of Noida International Airport).

B N Singh's most significant role was as the District Magistrate (DM) of Gautam Buddh Nagar, which includes Noida, Greater Noida, Dadri and Jewar. As DM, Singh realised that Gautambuddhanagar is a composition of both forward looking urban and enlightened rural society which is part of NCR and is changing very fast Socially, economically and culturally.

Resulting in specific sectoral grievances getting generated at a higher pace both quantitatively and qualitatively due to substantive structural changes exponentially. Understanding these challenges he played a crucial role in addressing various civic issues that were affecting the residents of the district both in urban and rural areas. His efforts were both on developmental, law and order side (being the last District Magistrate in pre Police Commisionerate arrangement). ( He has been one of the longest serving DM in Gautambuddhanagar (2017-2020).
